A LOOK AT THE NEW KAWASAKI TERYX

John Deer may have given us the first UTV, but it was Kawasaki that really put them into production. One of the true pioneers of the Side x side industry we see evolving today. Part of this evolution of machines takes us from the Mule which has been sold more widely around the world than any other machine Kawasaki’s newest utility vehicle the TERYX. As the industry has watched the decline of ATV sales and the new demand for UTV’s it’s evident that the next decade belongs to the side x side utility vehicle.

Manufacturers are working on new designs and improvements that will bolster their market share at a feverish pace. Unlike the recent unveiling of Honda’s new machine, Kawasaki did it right. The Teryx 750 has a unique sporty look that compliments their advancements in mechanical technology. It seems one without the other doesn’t make for good press.

Not only is the new sporty design attractive, but it’s built of tough scratch resistant Thermo –Plastic Olefin (TPO) and steel skid plates to protect the engine.

The new Teryx is powered by the 749cc 90 degree V-Twin engine. This is a proven engine that has long powered the Brute Force 750 4 x 4 . Kawasaki says that the mid-chassis mounted engine give the Teryx a displacement and V-Twin torque advantage over the competition.

The new look and the mechanical advantages are guaranteed to turn some heads as consumers keep demanding more in their optimal ride. The choice keeps getting harder and harder but Kawasaki has done an amazing job that will certainly capture an even larger market share in the race for UTV dominance.
