Cedar City, Utah: The off-road desert racing legend Walker Evans showed who's boss of these rocks at the Goodyear/Skyjacker Extreme Rock Crawl Championships in Cedar City, Utah today. He piloted the custom built Walker Evans rig sporting the 40" Goodyear sticky tires to a first place win over the young boys of summer rock crawling. Walker Evans has been competing in the off-road world for over 40+ years racing from the Baja Peninsula to places unknown. His vast experience and will to win has led Team Walker Evans to a great championship here in Cedar City. Walker started today where they left off yesterday and worked his magic throughout the difficult obstacles set up by Ranch Pratt and his crew of volunteers. Walker Evans battled head-to-head with last years champion, Mike Shaffer who took second place.
